"YOU'RE LEAVING?! WHAT? HOW COME? I THOUGHT YOU LIKED IT HERE!" Dreymeil shouted in shock. "So... WHY?" he asked, with wide eyes. He stared down at Cisaya in disbelief.

Cisaya had to plug her ears and wait for Dreymeil to stop yelling, before she answered him. "Ah well... I've just been feeling a little... homesick, y'know? I've been staying here at Xsainu castle for about a month... but I've been traveling before that for a long time too..." she started. "So, I guess I just want to visit South Port again and see my family...

Dreymeil gave her that look of bewilderment the whole time she was talking. Finally, he blinked and straightened up. "I'll pack my stuff, one second." he said.

"Wait what? You don't have to go with me-" Cisaya cut herself off when she saw Dreymeil turn around and run down the hallway to his room. "... Agh..." she shook her head and groaned.

~

Cisaya and Dreymeil were standing at the gates of Xsainu castle, with Chisoku and Eclipse staying by the doors. The demon slayer and henchman both had on backpacks with some clothes and necessities, and looked set to go.

"We're going now. Thanks for seeing us off, you two." Cisaya smiled up at Eclipse and Chisoku.

"No problem... Just... take care, I suppose." Eclipse didn't really have much to say in terms of friendly farewells. "And Dreymeil... I'll deal with you personally if you try anything on Cisaya." the lich said plainly, but there was a hint of menace in his tone.

"Eh heh, I'll be good." Dreymeil smirked. "It's my job to protect Cisaya after all~"

"As if she needs your protection." Chisoku scoffed. "She's better off without a womanizer like you." he appeared cranky as usual, so no one could tell if he was bothered by Cisaya and Dreymeil leaving or not.

"Uh... anyways. We'll be back in about a week or so. I'll be fine, so don't worry about anything! Take care of the castle while we're gone too." Cisaya said to the other two demons, and waved to them as she started to turn and walk.

Dreymeil went after her with his hands behind his head, whistling along the way. "This is gonna be fun~ Just the two of us traveling together~" he snickered as he eyed her from behind.

"I guess. I never really traveled with anyone else before." Cisaya agreed. They were making their way from the palace and through the city, towards the outer walls to exit the kingdom. "But Dreymeil... you're going to have to change your appearance when we arrive at South Port, you know that right?"

"What? Something wrong with these devilish good looks?" Dreymeil frowned.

"Aside from the fact everyone will instantly recognize you as a demon and run away in fear... no." Cisaya laughed. "So just use one of your illusion spells to look human and mask your Dark Magic for me, alright?" she glanced back at him.

He gave a little groan, and nodded. "Suuure. Anything for you~"

~

After about two days of travel across both land and water, the duo reached the lower coast of the Island of Zunko. They had used Dreymeil's serpent, Nateonoth to get across the ocean and although it was a wet and slippery method of transportation, it was faster than any ship could have been. Cisaya and Dreymeil had to leave Nateonoth by the Mer Coves and swim their way to shore though, so no one could spot the giant water serpent.

The two of them managed to crawl to the beaches, both soaked head to toe and exhausted. "Well, at least we made it without drowning." Dreymeil chuckled as he shook his head quickly, getting the water out of his hair.

"That's true... It was a nice swim." Cisaya did the same, moving her damp bangs out of her face to look at him. "Okay, time to put on that disguise, Drey." she reminded him.

Dreymeil gave her a smile, before snapping his fingers. His hair colour changed from its regular teal hue to a neutral dirty blond. His open jacket changed to a regular cotton tunic as well, but it was still dripping wet. "This alright?" he asked her, as the aura of Dark Magic around him slowly disappeared.

"Good, you can pass for a normal guy now." she gave him a thumbs up. Cisaya started to lead him towards the city nearby. It was getting late in the day, and she was glad they arrived before nightfall. "Hopefully, my place is still as I remember it..." she murmured.

"So, I'm finally gonna meet your parents, heh~?" Dreymeil asked while walking beside her. "This makes me feel like I'm your new boyfriend or something." he chuckled suggestively.

Cisaya didn't mind the flirting, but she corrected him about one point. "You're only going to meet my dad, and my siblings. My mom's dead." she said.

"Oh... well... sorry to hear..." Dreymeil apologized awkwardly. "I'm sure she was a good woman, right?"

Cisaya shrugged a bit and hugged herself, shivering from the cool ocean breeze. "I hope everyone's doing alright though. I haven't been able to contact them for almost six months now."

"I bet they've just missed you a lot~" the demon in disguise grinned and put his arm around her. He pulled Cisaya against him when he noticed her shivering from the cold. "Can't wait to meet em." Dreymeil said, this time without kidding or any hesitation.

South Port was a large but loosely populated city, home to mainly fishermen and merchants. The harbour was known to be the biggest one in Reflection, with ships and ferries docked by it and sailing by the coast all of the time. It was a busy place at almost all hours of the day, so Cisaya and Dreymeil had to walk by people rushing back and forth as they went.

"This is your home town, right?" Dreymeil asked her, as they started down one of the larger city streets.

"Yup. I was born and raised here back in the day." Cisaya seemed pleased to be back in South Port. The overpowering smell of salt, fish and people was all familiar and welcoming to her. "I was a fishergirl, always helping my dad with the business, ever since I could walk." she added.

Dreymeil looked around at the sights, noting the people and shops around. He thought it was a lot nicer than the city in Chisoku's kingdom, because everyone seemed to work together here, as a whole community. "We close to your place yet?" he questioned curiously, looking forward to arriving at Cisaya's home.

"Almost there." she chimed. Cisaya tried her best not to get distracted by the advertisements of some of the seafood restaurants they passed. "I could really go for some shrimp and squid noodles right now...." she mumbled to herself.

~

"DAD, I'M HOME!!!" Cisaya announced loudly as she burst in through the doors of a mid-sized row house.

A tall, tanned man turned looked up from his work on a braided net, and a look of amazement crossed his features. The man had hazel brown eyes, a mop of messy brown hair and a short beard. "Cisaya... Is that you?" He threw up the net he had been fixing and ran up to hug her. "MY LITTLE DEMON SLAYER! WELCOME HOME!" he bellowed, with a deep voice full of warmth.

"Hi to you too dad." Cisaya smiled, and embraced her father in return.

"You haven't changed a bit. I was worried you might have gotten some bad injuries during your travels." the man confessed, as he slowly released Cisaya to looked down at her. He was clearly overjoyed at her presence, but holding back the urge to hug his daughter anymore than he already did.

~

"Cisaaayaaa!!!"

Two small heads popped out from a doorway on the second floor, followed by much giggling and some running down the stairs. A pair of children, one boy and one girl, raced each other and tackled-hugged Cisaya in glee. "You're back, sis!!" they cheered. They both had tussled orange hair and light skin, with bright orange eyes. They both looked about 5 years old, and similar enough to be called twins.

"Angelfish! Devil Ray!" Cisaya laughed and bent down to hug the children. She was feeling the immense relief and happiness of being reunited with her siblings again. "You've both gotten taller. Ah hah..." she smiled and held them tightly, before ruffling their hair.

"Cisaya! Did you beat up the demons at Ss... Saynooo castle?" the boy, actually named Devlin, asked her.

"Ah... I'll tell you the full story later, okay." she chuckled and pinched his cheek.

"Yayie! Did you bring us any souvenir?" the girl, Angie, tugged on her damp jacket.

Cisaya blinked, and nodded. "Yup. Or more like I brought a friend back with me." she laughed, and turned around. "You can come in!" she called.

As if on cue, Dreymeil jumped in through the doorway and flashed his best smile at everyone in the room. "Helloooo there everyone~ My name's Dreymeil Nathaniel Naidruag and I'm... Cisaya's beeeeeeest boy friend~!"

"....." Cisaya let out another exasperated groan. "That's NOT how we rehearsed it Drey!!!"
I got this story idea for Cisaya .3. That will talk a little more about her back story, and just character interaction fun.

Oh man, this brought a smile to my face. This sounds like its going to be a funny adventure, especially with how Drey jumped in on the end. I wish my boyfriends could of been that laid back... all of them were super intimidated by my dad. Course, the guy can lift and pull a boat into water with his bare arms... ><;

Sidestories...backstories... always a fun read. :3

I know I've compared Drey once or twice to my character Tabias... they're both womanizers wtih a love for white cats... but I never would of guessed they had the same middle name.
