let's date modern knights (1/2)

yes, these are totally self-indulgent doodles

I felt like drawing some of my favourite knights OCs in modern clothing, which then prompted me to come up with reasons why you should (or shouldn't) date them
chivalry isn't dead

Lucien is from the icy isle of Cyrel. While he doesn't mind the cold, and his body is actually quite resistant to it, he prefers warmer areas where plants, and especially flowers can grow. He appears dense and scatterbrained at first, but is actually perceptive to the needs of others. Respectful, thoughtful, and a good listener, he would be an ideal boyfriend... if only he wasn't constantly traveling the world to collect new specimens of flora. At least he covers his own travel fees, and remembers to visit on holidays. Expect bouquets sent to your door every week, arranged with messages in the language of flowers. 

Erik is from the kingdom of Alteria. He is a knight right from a fairy tale, and his loyalty to you is unmatched. Sometimes it's difficult to tell where his duty ends and his feelings begin, when he wears the same stoic expression every day. He works in the security department for the government, but will be at your side in a heartbeat if you ever need him. His protective nature can be overbearing and you sense the underlying aura of someone who would murder your enemies if you just gave him the word. Luckily, his obedience means he does his best to listen when you tell him to loosen up. In the end, he wishes for your happiness above all else.

but then real life knights were pretty much trash and killed people for money and titles and gave no shits about the filthy peasants they owned
