Welp. Winter break is coming to an end.
Had a good month of lazing. Played some games, lots of Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns and South Park: Stick of Truth in the last week...

Hoping that 2015 isn't a terrible year. To be fair, 2014 was pretty alright up until... August? Haha I guess it was alright but glad it's over.
I really did miss getting to post art and talking to people on dA, and I'm going to make an effort to do more of that this year. Luckily, I only have 3 courses this semester instead of 5... so I might have more time... maybe... Ehhh don't count on it.

Ah, but happy (late) new year's to everyone! May the fanservice god bless you all. 

Once again, thank you for sticking with me for another year! I've been on dA for... almost a ridiculous amount of time now. Wow. Whether you're an old friend or new fan, it's great to have you aboard.

Sam's FINALLY Opening COMMISSIONS? NOPE.

You read that right... After all my years on dA, I have never once opened commissions...
AND EVEN NOW THIS ISN'T OFFICIAL. I'm just surveying who might be interested if I did. I'm a fairly busy artist (also incredibly lazy) and with the stack of things I owe friends and personal projects, commissions have always been the last thing on my priority list.

HOWEVER, I've gotten a lot of support from close friends (and even family) to start commissions. While I've always just enjoyed drawing art for friends for free, doing contests and kiribans and stuff, getting paid for what I draw is really what every professional artist wants, ain't it? 

So these are just some PROSPECTIVE prices and examples. I'm going to be fairly limited in what I draw for people due to 
A. Time Constraints
B. Style Constraints

For example, I will not be drawing in my semi-realistic style, simply because those pictures take way too much time. I also won't be doing any full bodies because they usually require bigger resolutions that I don't feel like going into. However, go crazy for chibis and anime...

EXAMPLE PRICES

My typical drawing resolutions are
2000x2500 Portrait
3000x2000 Landscape

Chibis:
$7 Chibi Sticker 



Bust:
$20 Colored
+$10 For Every Character
+$5 For Background



Halfbody:
$30 Colored 
+$10 For Every Character
+$5 For Background



INTENSE ASS PORTRAITS:
$50 Colored
+$20 For Every Character
+$10 For Background


Again, these are just prospective prices. They might change in the future (whenever I do open commissions) 

Things I will not draw:
- Antromorphic characters, but animal parts are fine (like ears, horns, tails, wings) Mermaids, Centaurs, etc. are okay. 
- Mechas (maybe one day)
- Nudity/Porn (Fanservice is fine as long as the privates are covered)
- Extreme Gore (My knowledge of the human innards only goes up to grade 10 biology sorry)

Things I will very grudgingly draw:
- Animals (Dogs and cats or small animal companions are fine but anything bigger is eh...)
- Guns and cars (but don't expect it to turn out well)
- Buildings and room interiors (Architecture is not my forte)
- Fanart of Licensed Shows/Games/Books/Whatever Characters 
- Pure Landscapes 

Shrugs. I'm picky, but at least I'm honest.
Trust me, it's just easier to ask for something that's easy for me to draw, so you'll get it sooner. I'm sure there are plenty of other artists out there who can do the other stuff I'm reluctant to do.

Anyways, I'm busy so commissions won't happen for a while. I'd just like some feedback about the prices, etc. or recommendations.
